9 Gems The Indians Should Know of

9 Gems the Telugu People/Andra Pradesh People Should Know of

Lord Balaji, Venkateshwara's Venkatesh Prappati, verse 9, bears their names.
Lord Venkatesa, Your lotus feet receive the best form of deeparadhanam, worship with lamp wherein the lamp is not the ghee and wick lamp that people in general use but rather lamp of the crown-tops of Brahma, Siva and others demi-gods (and the gems themselves are the alight wicks), who constantly offer obeisances at Your feet. I seek refuge at these transcendental feet.

Srinivasa Gadyam also offers us an insight as to what gems Lord Balaji adorns ( of course, to beautify not Himself but rather the gems themselves.)
